Our Services
Rebuilding Together of the Triangle, Inc. (RTT) brings together volunteer labor, donated materials, and private and corporate contributions to help rehabilitate the homes of low-income families in Chatham, Durham, Orange and Wake counties in North Carolina.
Our intent is to serve as many homeowners as possible. However, due to the voluntary natures of our resources, RTT cannot guarantee all applicants will be accepted. Decisions to assist applicants are based on an applicant's eligibility for service and the availability of resources, including labor, materials and funding.
In order to be eligible, applicants must demonstrate:
1) Home ownership
2) Residency in the home
3) Low-income qualification: 65% of Median Income
The deadline for submission of applications for Fall projects is August 1. Fall project applications will be reviewed between June 1 and September 1. The deadline for submission of applications for Spring projects is March 1. Spring project applications will be reviewed between January 1 and April 1. We accept applications all year long.
The date of your application submission will determine when it will be reviewed. For example, if your application is submitted between August 1 and March 1, it will be reviewed in the Spring cycle. Applications received between March 1 and August 1 will be reviewed in the Fall cycle.
